About Me

There are approximately 40,000 unidentified men, women and children across the United States. Many have been long-forgotten, buried nameless in unmarked graves. This blog focuses on cases from the state of Illinois. As the Illinois Victim Advocate for NAMUS (National Missing and Unidentified Persons System) at www.namus.gov, I am constantly looking for a way to reach out to the community, the families and to law enforcement in order to return names to our unidentified and help bring closure to the families of the missing. I also volunteer with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, working for Jerry Nance in the Forensic Services Unit.
